7u-10u Hitting Camps (multiple time slots)

During our last hitting camp, the 8 players that attended all increased their exit velocities. The average increase across the group was 12%. Most of the players gained between 5-8 mph.

Instructor Justin Williams:

  • Former Pro (San Diego Padres)
  • 10 years experience as high-level youth baseball coach & private hitting / pitching instructor

What Makes This Camp Different?

You have two hypothetical players. Let’s call them Player A and Player B.

Player A goes to team practices and hits a ton of balls on their own. This player will get only marginally better over a long period of time.

Player B is given the knowledge and understanding and applies it along with the same “reps” as player A. Player B will be a VASTLY better hitter than Player A in a much shorter period of time simply due to the better understanding and their knowledge helping them get to better outcomes. Players only get marginal results with “extra reps”, compared to “extra reps plus the understanding”.

Take math for example. You will not get better at fractional division, by doing a worksheet of those problems every day. Your answers will always be guesses because you don’t have the knowledge or understanding of how to solve fractional division problems.

However, once you are given the knowledge of flipping the last fraction, and it now is as easy as cross multiplying the numbers – so now you’re a pro.

That’s what this camp is all about. Giving players the understanding and knowledge first, then doing drills to help them “feel” it so they can have those lightbulb moments. This is not a camp where we will take 1000 swings and do drills for 4 hours. This is a camp where it will be a mixture of education and reps, so players are better hitters when they leave – due to understanding how to achieve better game outcomes.

I can’t thank you enough for your time and knowledge. As a parent and fellow coach, I think I took away as much if not more than my boy did today. Not only did I see a positive change in his performance from the time he walked in to walking out, but I learned so much more that I will be able to help him at home and incorporate with the kids out here in western Oklahoma. The analogies you shared that breaks it down for the boys to comprehend meanwhile explaining for us parents was phenomenal. I think I can speak for the whole group today that every kid walked out of there today with improvements and more confidence

All I can say is the I wish I came here a couple years ago, and to the parents that are considering. Get there NOW! I’m already booking more sessions!!! Can’t wait! 💪🏼

This was a very informative hitting camp, not only for the players, but also for the parents. I feel that my son walked away with a better knowledge of swinging the bat.

Coach Williams was excellent with my 6U player! He was so informative and packed a ton of information into the 2 hours in a way that wasn’t overwhelming for the boys. Definitely recommend for any baseball player.

My son attended Justin’s camp and had a blast! One of the best camps he has been to. Justin definitely takes the right approach at helping these young kids learn the proper way to becoming good hitters. You won’t just get buckets of balls to hit without instruction, Justin will take the time to explain the steps (in a way the kids understand) to get your kid on the right track. This was my son’s first camp at this facility and is already asking to go back! Highly recommend this facility and camp! We will definitely be back!

My son 7, has attended two hitting camps with Justin, almost back to back he enjoyed it that much! Justin was excellent with the kids, engaging them as a whole and individually as needed. His instructions were clear and easy for the kids to understand. Along with the book that each kid gets and gets to take home(which is awesome),Justin also took the time at the end of clinic to answer any questions (us) parents might have. We look forward to attending more camps in the future!

My son is 6 and has attended two of the hitting camps. After the first camp his swing and contact improved so much. We continued using the drills and instruction he was given on our own and everything kept improving including his confidence at the plate. I highly recommend these camps to anyone wanting there player to be the best hitter they can be.

We drove from Tulsa for Justin’s camp and it was worth it. He delivers his knowledge in a way the younger players can receive it. We took several pieces of information from the camp and still apply them. In our daily cage work. Our son had a blast also and is asking to go back!! First class and top notch facilities also!

I highly recommend this camp! Justin was hands on with the kids. He did not just tell them what to do but explained how and why so that my 6yo could understand. He gave each kid a book with info and videos so that we can keep working at home. “You can’t get better with more reps if you don’t understand the why”

Excellent camp Justin didn’t just put the boys through a bunch of reps he actually broke it down to a 6 year old level so they would understand. Highly recommend checking this camp out.
